Blog Candy has now closed
thank you for all your fabulous support and lovely comments, I'll have more Blog Candy soon

You've seen how adorable these Stamps are from Magnolia's new Hoppy Easter Collection. I have some extras and Magnolia has been very generous and given me permission to give them away as blog candy.

Edwin with Easter Basket and Chicken Tilda. From the new Hoppy Easter Collection, available for here. Magnolia stamps can be ordered from the Magnolia Store & also from Magnolia Down Under Store.

I'm sorry you won't receive them in time for Easter, but the wonderful thing about Magnolia Stamps, they can be used for so many other occasions. I can see Edwin collecting flowers in his basket for Mothers Day and Chicken Tilda making an appearance at Halloween.

Fairytale Tilda

Hello Magnolia Lovers,

It's time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge
# 39 - Stitching - it can be real machine stitching, hand stitching or faux. I love to incorporate a little stitching, I think it gives that homemade with love look.
The sponsor this week is the amazingly wonderful Bec from Bizzy Becs store, her customer service is fantastic.

I followed this sketch by fellow DT, the fabulously talented Jane, Jane is also a DT for Just Magnolia and she designed this sketch for their challenge this week, of course I had to play along, I love it, thanks Jane and can see myself using it a lot.

I have also entered this in the following challenges:
Totally Papercrafts Challenges - Pink & Green
Pollycraft Monday Challenge - Sparkly things
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Flower Power
Colour Create Challenge Blog - Pastels
Charisma Cards Challenges - Spring has Sprung
Incy Wincy Designs - Easter or Spring
Little Red Wagon - Inspiration Photo
Crafty Ann's  Challenge Blog - for someone special
Simon Says Challenge - Easter or Spring & some glimmer

I have used one of the soon to be released Magnolia stamps from the Fairytale Collection, this sweet image is none other than Fairytale Tilda (available soon at Magnolia Down Under), isn't she just magical, I have coloured her with copics, lots of star dust stickles, airbrushed the background with some yellow to give her a bit of a glow. Doily from Magnolia Down Under DT Kit, some of the flowers from Busy Becs. I have added some zig zag machine stitching around my card, I dusted off my poor neglected Cricut Die Cutting Machine to make this Doily shaped card, I used the Wild Card cartridge, and selected the blackout feature. Text stamp is by Kaisercraft. Tilda has been cut out and popped up with dimensionals. You can see better in this side view.

Looking for inspiration, stop by & see what the other Design Team Members have created for you, they are all amazing! Thanks for joining this wonderful challenge, I can't wait to see what you come up with & hope you will join us next week.

Coming Soon, Personalised Stamps, back by popular demand for a limited time only - Aussie stampers look out for them at Magnolia Down Under in April.

Also look out for this new release of the Fairy Tale Collection with gorgeous papers, cute Pirates, Little Princesses, and MANY MORE…. Sign up to Magnolia Down Under’s Newsletter to be sure NOT to miss a thing!

Thanks for visiting & I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

Happy Easter from Tilda with flowing hair

Hello Lovelies,

Thank you so much for all your wonderful emails, thoughts & prayers. Mum will be out of  hospital soon thank goodness, but still a long way to go. I was able to take a couple of my stamps to the hospital to colour and found it very theraputic.

Kellie from Magnolia Down Under Store has given us DT's a Challenge to make something with our adorable Easter stamps this week, too easy, I love & wish I had a them all and also each of us were challenged to use something we don't normally use on our cards and mine is lace. I love lace it is just with all my border punches, to choose from, but will definately use lace more often. Here are some variations with these gorgeous stamps, one from my fellow DT Nicole, just beautiful and one from the Boss Lady herself Kellie, gorgeous, the card too.

All stamps and paper by Magnolia - this is Tilda with Flowing Hair (available here) & Open Gate both from new Hoppy Easter Collection and what I love the most about these gorgeous stamps, they can be used for so many other occasions, not just Easter. Text stamp is from their Easter Collection 2009.

Tilda has been cut out and raised with pop dots for  dimension, coloured with Copics, the gate is covered with crackle paint, lots of Star Dust stickles, machine stitching, flowers, lace, ribbon and butterfly from own supplies.

I have entered this in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Easter or Spring with some glimmer

Kellie at Magnolia Down Under Store is having a sale, all Magnolia stamps 15% off, this includes the adorable new Hoppy Easter Collection, stop by and see all the goodies she now stocks including some delish flowers and gorgeous lace, but hurry the sale ends soon.

Also don't forget to pre-order your Magnolia Ink Magazine Vol 3 here.

Coming Soon, Personalised Stamps, will be back by popular demand for a limited time only - look out for them in the store in April.

Thanks for visiting and again thank you for your good wishes, I will have something for you again this Sunday, my Magnolia Down Under Challenge.

Tilda as Shephard

Happy Monday to you all,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I am so sorry I haven't been able to visit your blogs lately, my family has had a medical emergency, I hope things improve soon.

This is a DT card for Magnolia Sweden, as you know they have just released some fabulous new Easter Stamps - the Hoppy Easter Collection. This is Tilda as Shephard and will be available very soon at Magnolia Down Under here. Happy Easter Text is from Magnolia's Easter Collection 2009.

Stamp & papers supplied by Magnolia Sweden in DT Kit, Doily supplied by Magnolia Down Under in DT Kit. This is my first Shaped Easel Card, the inspiration came from my fellow DT Debbie, here is her amazing creation. I've coloured with Copics markers and cut the shaped card with my Cricut Die Cutting machine.

This just so happens to fit the challenge at at Just Magnolia
Easel Cards, my very favourite.

Magnolia Down Under Birthday Blog Hop

Hello there Magnolia Lovers and Welcome our 1st Birthday Blog Hop for Magnolia Down Under Challenges

We are so excited and thrilled to be turning 1! Who knew that when Magnolia Down Under Challenges started with only 3 members it would be bigger and better a year on. We are all SO EXCITED that we have decided to do a birthday blog hop and what's better is, that all the DT's are offering CANDY! To be eligible, you have to hop on to each Design Team Member and leave them some comment lovin affection ;) Winners will be announced on Magnolia Down Under Challenges Blog at the end of the challenge (next Saturday) and also on the personal DT blogs on whom won their candy.

If you've just happened across my blog and didn't start at the beginning click HERE. But if you have come from Jane's Blog then you are well on your hop....

I wanted to make something bright & cheery for our 1st Birthday and decided to use the gorgeous papers from Basic Grey's June Bug. I attempted a Gate Fold Card, I was inspired by Kellie and Debbie's wonderful Gate Fold creations, but I didn't look at any instructions (silly me) it didn't turn out quite the same, but I have since found some fail safe instructions Kellie posted on her blog by Leann very clear, easy to follow and guarantee a laugh or two, thanks Leann.

Getting back to my card, I used Magnolia Tilda with Balloons from Spring Summer 2008 collection for the front of the card and for the inside Happy Tilda from the new Raising the Ceiling Collection (I love her to bits) from Magnolia Down Under Store, sentiment stamps are by Hero Arts. The text "Surprise" inside card was cut with my Cricut Expressions Die Cutting Machine on yellow cs and glittered up with star dust stickles, Balloons smothered in Rock Candy Stickles, Flowers, Silk Ribbon and gems from stash.

I apologise for the poor photos, I prefer to take my photos in daylight time ran out.

This adorable Tilda is named Tilda with Cowberry Muffin from Magnolia's Heavenly Travel & School Collection, I thought she would make perfect candy for Birthday Celebrations & some Prima Trellis Roses

Thanks for stopping by.... Continue the hop by visiting Nicole's Blog.

Edwin's Easter Egg Hunt

Happy Wednesday Stampers,

This is my 2nd DT card for Magnolia. I must admit I am a tad nervous being such a newbie on the team and I don't make a lot of boy cards, but anyways, as all you Magnolia Lovers know, Magnolia is about to release some fabulous new Easter Stamps - the Hoppy Easter Collection - this is Edwin with Egg Basket & Rooster from the new collection. For my Australian friends, Kellie at Magnolia Down Under Store doesn't have these 2 stamps, but she does have a lot of the adorable new Easter Collection arriving any day now, hurry she has a stamp sale -15% off all stamps showing in her store and for my international friends, Diana from Magnolia-licious has these listed for pre-order and offers amazing customer service also.

These like so many of Magnolia stamps can be used for other occasions not just Easter. I have also used the sentiment stamp called Squiggly Happy Easter from Magnolia's Easter 2009 Collection. I hope you like what I came up with.

I coloured Edwin, his basket and the roosters tail feathers a couple of times to give them a little dimension, I also added a few real feathers. I couldn't help myself with just a few flowers. I have coloured with Copics, inked the edges with Distress Ink (pine needles) all papers, stamps, feathers, & ribbon from DT Kit supplied by Magnolia. I glossed up the Rooster's Feet and wobbly red bits with some Diamond Glaze. (sorry but not sure what they are called lol) Added a few gems & pearls with a some stickles to look like Easter Eggs on the ground, Edwin is on an Easter Egg Hunt after all.
