Happy Easter Lovelies

Happy Easter to you all,

I apologise again for not visiting many of you, I am unable to spend as much time crafting and blogging as I would like for many reasons, hope this will change soon.

I am taking time out this long weekend to catch up with family & friends. I know I'll be eating way too much chocolate, I've been taste testing them for days, I'd hate to pass on any that were not perfect to my family & friends bahahahahaha. I hope whatever you have planned, you all have a  wonderful Easter.

My DH wanted to cheer me up and has surprised me with the promise of a major craft room renovation over the next few weeks. OMG, I am so excited. I'll be packing my room this weekend also, but still hope to make some new cards to share.

I've had this card finished for a few days but having probs with my computer, anyways enough of my waffles.

I have stamped her up a couple of times, cutting parts out to give her some dimension, coloured her with copics, lightly airbrushing the background. How cute is the little lamb on her lap and OMG I love love love MAGNOLIA'S NEW MINI PAPERS, they are so perfect for card making.

It is time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week the challenge is to make a seasonal themed card.

I have been itching to ink up this gorgeous girl (Tulip Tilda) from Magnolia's new Wedding Collection and as you can see she would be perfect for so many occasions. I've teamed her up with the tulip (Two Tulpis) from Magnolia's Easter Hoppy Easter Collection 2010 , a perfect match.

I have coloured with Copics, cut out the images and popped them up for dimension, airbrushed the background, added lots of sparkle, the gorgeous papers are from Kaisercraft, loving these colours, and then stamped the inside with more of the tulips and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. Hello Lovelies,

Thank you so much for all your wonderful emails, thoughts & prayers. Mum will be out of  hospital soon thank goodness, but still a long way to go. I was able to take a couple of my stamps to the hospital to colour and found it very theraputic.

Kellie from Magnolia Down Under Store has given us DT's a Challenge to make something with our adorable Easter stamps this week, too easy, I love & wish I had a them all and also each of us were challenged to use something we don't normally use on our cards and mine is lace. I love lace it is just with all my border punches, to choose from, but will definately use lace more often. Here are some variations with these gorgeous stamps, one from my fellow DT Nicole, just beautiful and one from the Boss Lady herself Kellie, gorgeous, the card too. 

All stamps and paper by Magnolia - this is Tilda with Flowing Hair (available here) & Open Gate both from new Hoppy Easter Collection and what I love the most about these gorgeous stamps, they can be used for so many other occasions, not just Easter. Text stamp is from their Easter Collection 2009.

Tilda has been cut out and raised with pop dots for  dimension, coloured with Copics, the gate is covered with crackle paint, lots of Star Dust stickles, machine stitching, flowers, lace, ribbon and butterfly from own supplies.

This is a DT card for Magnolia Sweden, as you know they have just released some fabulous new Easter Stamps - the Hoppy Easter Collection. This is Tilda as Shephard and will be available very soon at Magnolia Down Under here. Happy Easter Text is from Magnolia's Easter Collection 2009.

This is my first Shaped Easel Card, the inspiration came from my fellow DT Debbie, here is her amazing creation. I've coloured with Copics markers and cut the shaped card with my Cricut Die Cutting machine.

My 1st DT card for Magnolia - Chicken Tilda

I am so excited, I received my 1st DT Kit from Magnolia Sweden this week. Lots of adorable stamps from the new Hoppy Easter Collection. 

I wanted to make something a little bit special, being my very first DT card and all, I decided on a Shadow Box Card here is a tutorial,  I have used Chicken Tilda, isn't she just the cutest, from the new Collection, available now for pre-order at Magnolia Down Under Store, and if you hurry Kellie has them on sale, 15% off all stamps listed in her store, including the new Hoppy Easter Collection.
