A card for Mum

A pretty Easel Card I made for Mum this Mother's Day using
pretty paper from My Mind's Eye along with pearls, lace, flowers and ribbon,
giving it that Vintage loveliness Mum loves.
The word Mum was cut using my Cricut Expressions Machine,
the letters were cut many times, to build height
giving it more of a 3d effect.

Baby Gift Bag - Cricut - Tags Bags Boxes & More 2

Hello to all my blogging friends. I know, you are probably saying Jodie who!!!!! It has been well over 12 months since my last post. As some of you may be aware I haven't well & needed to take some time out, this contributed to me losing my crafting mojo. I'm slowly getting some of my mojo back and have been playing around with my much loved cricut machine.

I made this simple but adorable Baby Gift Box using the Onesie on page 45 in Tags Bags Boxes and More 2.

Cut 1 @ 9" in plain coloured cardstock

I wanted to use the pretty spot designer paper but needed the heavier weight of the cardstock. Using CCR (Cricut CraftRoom), I selected the again but this time @ 8.75"

I cropped just the front side of the box, giving me the layered look I wanted.

Then using CCR Basics - cut @ 1"
Glitter and glimmered and stuck on with a pop dot for dimension.

Decorate as you wish, stitch layers (faux or for real) I used wide lace around the neck and narrower lace around the legs, adding a pretty bow and pearl to finish off.
