Hello Pumpkin

Happy Wednesday Everyone,

I thought I would branch out a little (pun intended) from my adorable Maggies & try something new, DigiStamps
All that Scraps CC Designs - Pixie Pumpkins.

Entered in the following Challenges

Copic Creations - Challenge No. 12 ~ Copics & Pencils

Blog Hop Challenge over at Peachy Keen Stamps

Don't you hate it when your Copic's run dry, I started colouring  this card over the weekend, my main skin colour E000 ran out & of course I did not have a refill. It took 3 days later my refill to arrive. Copics are not as popular in Australia as other countires. Lesson learnt - keep refills on hand for my most used markers.

This is my first digital stamp - printed with my Epson R1800 & heat set the ink & coloured with my Copics - the eye area where the most concentrated amount of ink pools, smeared a tiny bit, but apart from that, love them.

Supplies
Adorable little stamp is a CC Design Digi Stamp - Pixie Pumpkins, Design Paper - My Mind's Eye - Pretty Please collection - Polka Dot Orange & Stripes, Martha Stewart Branch Punch, Ribbon - Unknown from Stash, Machine Stitching, Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tea Dye, Diamond Stickles, Spellbinder Nesties - Circles & Pinking Circles, Combination of Copic Markers & Prismacolor Pencils, Sentiment - Computer generated.

Stripe Paper - the green stripe was not quite the correct shade of green so I re-coloured it with my copics to match the ribbon.

Colouring with Copics & Prismacolor Pencils - (be careful not to colour over Prisma Pencils with Copics, you must colour with Copics first or you will ruin your Copic tips.

Happy Friday Everyone

Hello and thanks for visiting. I am so excited I have taken the plunge and started my new blog. I kept putting it off thinking it was going to be a lot harder to set up. It was not difficult at all, so many wonderful blog templates available, I would love to thank Megan from Shabbyblogs.com for her totally shabulous templates, they are amazing. I am sure I will be tweaking this site for a little while, so please bear with me.

Hooray,  today I made a card just because, no challenges, just to practice using my much loved Copics and play with the adorable Magnolia Stamps. I purchased some new paper and have been bursting to try it out. I love bright colours as I am sure you can tell and I adore the Cosmo Cricket range of papers.

Happy 50th

I couldn't decide between an A2 size & 6 x 6 card, so I made both.
I gave my friend the A2 size and kept the other as a sample. I secretly could not part with this being my first Tilda card.

This card was made for a lady I work with, we have only worked together for a short time, but we get clicked from day one. I can't believe she is turning 50, she looks like she is still in her early 40's.
Happy Birthday Jo, hope your day is as special as you are.

COPICS - I took the plunge & purchased these copic markers in August, I kept putting them off thinking another fad, these new markers will probably sit keeping all my other markers company that I have not used for years. Wow, how wrong was I, I love them, they are so addictive, I want more. They take time to learn how to blend but worth it. Of course, I could not stop there, I needed some stamps to colour with and I decided to buy the cute adorable Magnolia stamps.

I was lucky to find the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group and love to drool over all the talented members projects and have just started to participate in some of their challenges.

Baby Boy Card

I don't have a lot of carts being such a newbie to the Cricut World & find it challenging coming up with a card that is not too plain.

I guess it is good in some ways as it makes me explore what I do have a little more.
Hopefully this one is not too plain.

You Make Me Smile

I loved this shape so much I made another

Wild Card Cartridge - Porthole Card - a new favourite shape - this is featured on page 55.

The secret to making cards & matching envelopes using WILD CARD is to cut the envelope first and by doing this you then know what size to make the card at the maximum size.

I cut this @ 6.5" with matching envelope using Design Studio
Max size using the fit to page function on Expression is only 5.5" but with DS I was able to turn the envelope diagonal & make it larger. Love DS.

Cardstock - Bazzill Basics
Stamp - Hero Arts
