Supplies, Design Paper - We r Memory Keepers - Tiffanys (available from the Delicious Kristy's Papercraft Store ) I fussy cut the flowers from DP, coloured Ivy with Copic Markers, very lightly airbrushed the background with some pink. Reds R20-27, Pinks RV00-06. Martha Steward pansy border punch.

It has been a very cold few days here in Oz, I hope all my blogging friends in the warmer parts of the world are enjoying their summer.

It's time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge

Our challenge this week is embossing, it can be dry or heat.

Wow, I had a sneak peak at the Design Teams creations and they are amazing again this week. I have been wanting to ink up this adorable image for a while, Bubbling Tilda (check out Stephanne's amazing creation),  I paper toled her, but again forgot to take a side view to show her dimension. The background was stamped, coloured, then dry embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder, before adding the dimension.

On the front panel of my card I've stamped Bride and Bridesmaid and the Wedding Background. I made a Gate Fold Card, the tutorial is by the very talented Beate of Splitcoast Stampers.

I coloured Bride & Bridesmaid with Copic Markers and cut them out, I used some pop dots to raise them above the background for some dimension.

The Wedding Background I stamped twice, cutting out the markee/curtains, coloured them and attached them to the background again with pop dots giving the background a little more dimension, adding a 2nd layer.

The beach background (Wedding background) I coloured or I should say attempted to colour with Distress Inks for a softer look, I certainly need lots of practice.  The front panel ended up with 3 layers (I forgot to take a side view to show the dimension)

For the inside of my card I've used the adorable Flower Girl, and the sentiment is also from Magnolia, May your day be special - Chasing Butterflies Collection 2009.

This is the last of my DT cards for the Wedding Collection and they are now on their way to Magnolia Sweden, I hope they like them.

I'm sure you have all heard of our Pink Lady Kylie or as sometimes known as Blondie due to the fact the Pink Ladies have two Kylie's (Blondie & Brown) from Tickled Pink Stamps, also a Magnolia Down Under DT and Mad for Markers plus many other DT positions. I was fortunate to meet the lovely Kylie in Sydney for the Copic Certification class in early May.

This is the card I sent Kylie, hope she likes it.

I made it for the Tickled Pink Stamps preview of the fabulous new range of Lil Lolita's. I remodeled it and turned it into an Easel Card (just for a change), hope you like it Kylie.

 I didn't add the Birthday music this time, everytime I logged on to my blog it sang Happy Birthday to me, I kept muting it but for some reason the mute would not save. Anyways. I am singing silently to you Blondie (my DH would be laughing now if he read this, saying it is the only silent thing I ever did lol)

Tickled Pink Stamps Monthly Challenge

It's time for another Tickled Pink Monthly Challenge # 2

This month Kellie has given us a fabulous sketch to follow but with a twist, she asked us to make a bookmark also. I turned the sketch on it's side, I hope you can see a resemblance. The sketch was inspired by Claudia Rosa in the Magnolia Ink..

I decided to make a envelope card, a little home for my bookmark to live when you're not reading. I used my Spellbinder Nestie Labels 8 (topnote), cut it out three times, once in white cardstock for some stability, then one in each of the pattern papers.

Romantic Tilda from Magnolia's new Wedding Collection

Hello Magnolia Lovers, Happy Monday to you all,

Meet Romantic Tilda, she is my favourites from the new Wedding Collection, I love them all, but this one is special, she has such a sweet little face and she is all dressed up in her best clothes. The fabulous new Wedding Collection is now available on pre-order here and again this little angel can be used for many other occasions, I can see her on little girls birthday cards and many more.

The designer paper was supplied by Magnolia Sweden, I've coloured her with Copic Markers in the following colours: Dress BG000, 10 & 11, Pinks R81, 83, 85  Hair E25, 31 & 29, Skin E000, 00, 11 & R20. I airbrushed the background in a very soft pink and added lots of star dust stickles, and of course the doily (also from Tickled Pink Stamps) adds that extra little bit of sweetness. Ribbon and flowers from my collection.

MDUC goes spotty - Challenge 49 - Spots

It's time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge 

and this week we'll have you seeing spots, we ask you to use polka dots. 

I have used one of the new soon to be released stamps from Magnolia's Wedding Collection, this is Tilda with Veil and is available for pre-order hereand the sentiment is also from Magnolia.

I coloured her up in pinks earlier in the week and loved her so much, I thought she would look sweet in blues. This stamp is a little bigger than than normal, which I love as she was so easy to colour. I used a mix of papers, Poker Dot from Kaisercraft - Utopia Collection and the stripe from DCWV - A Garden Party. Coloured with Copic Markers, Blues B000, B02 & B04, Hair E25, 31 & 29, Skin E000, 00, 11 & R20. I airbrushed the flowers to match and added lots of star dust stickles. MS border puch hiding in the background, the gorgeous doily is a must have staple from Tickled Pink Stamps. I also wanted to share with you a photo of my newest addition to the family, meet Miss Molly a Westie, @ just 8 weeks old, we're hoping she will be a great little playmate for our very spoilt Ruby, (9 month old Westie). I haven't had much sleep over the last week, a huge settling in period, but I am sure over time they will be the best of friends.

It's so hard trying to amagine Ruby this size, Ruby @ 9 weeks & now.

Lil Lolita's Challenge - Lilith goes Girly Girl

It's time for another Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge and this week we have been asked by Kellie to make a card with one of the new Lil Lolita's making it 'Girly Girl'. I decided to choose Lilith this week, instead of making her all dark, I wanted to show you all how perfect she is all sweet and pinkilicious and full of sugar and spice & all things nice.

Lately, I seem to be going through a pink stage, I'm not normally a pink girl, but it's nice to dig deep and find that side of me and once I love something I tend to overdo it a little (like my easel cards). To make my card all girly girl, I added lots of flowers, ribbons, pearls (check out the new range of flourishes & pearls at TPS here) and a bit of sparkle (ok what's new)  I also used these wonderful papers, Tiffany's -WR Memory Makers from the Delicious Papercrafting.

And don't forget our Monthly TPS Challenge starting on the 8th June. For this one you can use stamps from any company stocked by Tickled Pink Stamps - even if you haven't actually bought your stamp there!

Flowergirl Tilda from the new Wedding Collection

Hello Magnolia Lovers,

How adorable is this sweet little bridesmaid/flower girl, she is from Magnolia's new Wedding Collection and wll be released very soon and Kellie from Tickled Pink Stamps will have them up for pre-order as soon as they are available. . She looks so cute with the netting down over one eye. What I love so much about so many of these adorable Magnolia Stamps are they can be used for so many other occasions. I loved this little girl so much I have coloured her up as a brunette in blue also, just in the process of adding her to a card.
